Let’s start with the classics: what do you pair a man’s denim jacket with?
TOTAL DARK DENIM
The simplest option is to combine it with a classic white t-shirt and some white trainers. It's a perfect day-to-day look and very easy to create.
The total denim look is another of our favourites. A pair of men's denim jeans and a denim jacket in a similar shade will give you a very clean style reminiscent of a uniform.
TOTAL LIGHT DENIM
As you can see in these suggestions for denim looks, you can also opt for jeans in a lighter shade than your jacket. This way, the colour contrast will give the look a harmonious touch.
TOTAL BLACK
Now for our last tip: pair your denim jacket with other garments in black or in fabrics other than denim. You'll be able to highlight the denim effect of the jacket, making it the standout part of your outfit.

Outfit with beige or light-coloured twill overshirt
LOOK OVERSHIRT
As you've seen so far, denim jackets for men usually come in darker shades.
If you're looking for a more lightweight look (perfect for the cooler summer nights), a twill overshirt in lighter shades is the right option for you. We've paired it with a black or dark brown shirt to play with the colour contrast, medium wash jeans and white trainers.
DENIM OVERSHIRT
And for those with a slightly more special or out-of-the-box style, this denim overshirt with twill details is perfect.
You can opt for chino trousers that match the twill details (in this case, dark khaki) and keep the rest of the outfit simple, with a t-shirt and white trainers).
Then, just like the previous look, we've finished it off with a denim overshirt. This is something between a shirt and a jacket. It's as comfortable as a shirt and as versatile as a jacket: so you get the best of both worlds.
